Julie Daniluk

Julie Daniluk hosts Healthy Gourmet, a reality cooking show that highlights the ongoing battle between taste and nutrition which has been chosen to be part of OWN (the Oprah Winfrey Network). She enjoys creating a recipe a week for www.chatelaine.com and is a regular contributor to Vitality magazine. Daniluk’s soon to be published first book, Meals That Heal Inflammation (Random House), will help people enjoy allergy-free foods that taste great and assist the body in the healing process. Enzo Di Mauro

Enzo Di Mauro has had over 20 years of experience as a journalist and reporter for OMNI Television. Di Mauro has also worked for several years in radio broadcasting for CHIN radio is the co-publisher of Panorama Italian Canadian magazine.


Chef John Higgins

Chef John Higgins is an internationally acclaimed chef and has even had the honour of working at Buckingham Palace. He currently holds the position as Director of the George Brown Chef School. Higgins has been raising the bar on culinary excellence with aspiring chefs in training since he made the transition from kitchen to classroom in 2002.


Sarah Hood

Sarah Hood has published hundreds of magazine articles in The National Post, The Globe and Mail, Canadian Living, Canadian Business, enRoute, Toronto Life and many more. This summer her book “We Sure Can! How Jams and Jellies are Reviving the Lure and Lore of Local Food” is being released by Arsenal Pulp Press in Vancouver.


Marion Kane

Marion Kane was food editor/columnist at the Toronto Star for 18 years. She is now a freelance food sleuth, writer and broadcaster. She is the author of three food-themed books and believes food journalism should be accessible, entertaining and educational. She became friends with Julia Child in 1991 and wrote her obituary in the Star in 2003. Kane continues to share her passion for food on her website: www.marionkane.com.


Frank Kocis

Frank Kocis is a long-time food writer for BlogTO, where he writes about his appetite for local food and the people who make it. BlogTO is a website that features the best of Toronto ‘s restaurants, events, activities, and more.


Nicki Laborie

Nicki Laborie is the founder of www.ViewtheVibe.com which is Toronto’s 1st Video Restaurant Guide. Laborie has also had experience as a General Manager of one of Toronto’s most buzzing restaurants, Eden Trattoria.


Joy McCarthy

Owner of www.joyoushealth.ca Joy McCarthy is both a Certified and Registered Nutritionist as well as a corporate wellness speaker. A freelance health writer, she writes a monthly column for Tonic Magazine on an Ontario Farmers Market. McCarthy believes that if you “Eat well and live well, you will be rewarded with wonderful health and be well.


Peter Moscone

Peter Moscone is the Executive Producer and co-owner of NGM Enterprise (www.ngmenterprise.com), which co-produced Chef*OFF on Food Network. Moscone is also the National Director of Production of Gold Medal Plates (www.goldmedalplates.com) and other food-related events and competitions.


Chef Jason Parsons

Chef Jason Parsons is the Executive Chef at Peller Estates Winery Restaurant in Niagara-on-the-lake. Jason is a member of 3 Chefs, he is occasionally featured as a guest expert on CityLine, and has recently contributed to writing the cookbook entitled “3 Chefs – The Kitchen Men.”


Emily Richards

Emily has authored or co-authored three cookbooks and continues to create recipes for notable Canadian magazines and companies such as: LCBO Food & Drink, Today’s Parent Magazine, Longo’s Experience Magazine, Heart & Stroke Foundation, Egg Farmers of Canada, Dairy Farmers of Canada and Maple Leaf Prime Chicken and Pork. Emily is currently working on her next cookbook, which will help families enjoy weeknight meals and also encourage the experience of casual kitchen entertaining with friends.


Monda Rosenberg

Monda Rosenberg has had over three decades of experience as food editor for Chatelaine magazine. Rosenberg’s influence reached millions of Canadian women. She has that elusive quality of being able to develop a connection with her readers and she says it is because she has made every mistake possible in the kitchen.


Meghan Telpner

Meghan Telpner is a Certified Nutritionist and Chief Love Maker of The Love In The Kitchen Academy Cooking School. Her daily blog Making Love In The Kitchen, delivers a refreshingly realistic approach to nutrition and healthy living. Based in Toronto, Meghan also operates Nourish Your Soul Holidays, leading healthy living retreats world-wide. Telpner was recently ranked in the top ten of applicants for TedX Toronto 2010 and has been featured on various television, news, and radio shows.
